Jute Wrapped Planter

I had an old planter that needed a pick-me-up.  I decided to paint the base in a fun turquoise and wrapped the rest of the planter with jute.  I got a large thing of jute at the Habitat Home Store for $1 and used .50 acrylic paint that I had in my stash, so this project was super easy and super inexpensive!

Start near the base of the planter and wind your way up to the top (keep it tight and keep pushing it down, so you don't have any of the planter peeking through).  I used a dab of hot glue to adhere the jute at the top.  

I love the organic look and feel of it-so much better with some texture!
